My Slides for Lightning Talk at Media Party

Imagine using software to transcribe your interview into text, unaware that the privacy policy you agreed to allows the company to use your unfinished work to train their AI model. This could be alarming for an investigative journalist!

In this lightning talk at Media Party, I shared why should we care about the privacy policies of commonly used journalism tools. This also leads to an idea of a thorough evaluation of a whole toolkit.

AI & Privacy

The PrivaSee Project

This project use large language models to decode obscure privacy policies and provide summarized reports, professional scores, and intuitive visualizations. No more confusion about lengthy and complicated documents, users can learn everything about how their apps performance in comparison with others.

Co-developed with Yanan Sun, this was awarded the third-prize and a $5,000 funding in the media track of the Columbia Venture Competition.

Business Reporting

I worked at a startup for a month for this business report on chatbots.
